I never use a Sim adapter for this reason. The worst you could do is purchase information technology and accept it not work. It's worth a shot to become your telephone working again. Why would yous want a nano Sim? It won't back up mobile wallets from what I retrieve and the Death Star isn't very helpful when it comes to fixing issues.

Well, the repair guy soldered a new sim menu holder. However, it nevertheless does not recognize sim cards. He checked the connections and there is conductivity. He also inserted an external SD carte du jour and the telephone recognizes information technology. Information technology just does non recognize sim cards.

Before I sell it for parts, does anyone has any ideas? Thanks.

same thing happened to my G3. Sent it straight to LG and they put in a new sim role. Non covered past warranty. It was worth it.

This already happened to me on my last G3, and the repair was a #@$. I ended soldering some old iPhone 3G pins over the LG G3 busted ones. And the phone works fine.

When this happened to me there weren't spare parts notwithstanding for the G3. And seeing the pins you had to solder on the spare function, i must say its going to be a hard piece of work. I will recommend taking it to a person with high level soldering skills. Crusade you lot tin can easily damage your motherboard.

Also, this happened to me due to a SIM adapter (NanoSIM 4FF to MicroSIM 3FF), you can tear those pins real hands. Since i travel from US to United mexican states a lot, im constantly changing SIM cards. So i had to supercede my SIMs to a MicroSIM 3FF size.
